We are grateful to the Lord for the opportunity to resume two morning service opportunities along with our Sunday evening six p.m. meeting. Today, God willing, we will continue our study of the Holy Spirit as mentioned in the book of Acts. Remember that we left off last Sunday evening in Acts chapter two wherein we find the Holy Spirit filling the believers and taking control of their mind, will, and emotions, as well as their tongues for the purpose of sharing the message of salvation to multitudes. This same filling will manifest itself in chapters two, three, and four, affecting the Spirit-controlled believers in various supernatural ways. Let’s pray and yield to God everything that He may fill us with His Spirit!
Again in chapter two of Acts we find the Spirit of God explained as a “gift” from God to everyone who receives Christ as his or her personal Saviour. “The Gift of the Spirit” will be a part of our focus today as we dive into the voice of the Spirit recorded for us in the Holy Scriptures!
