Dear NLBC Staff & Members,

Today, we learned that one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19 (2019 novel coronavirus).  This individual was last in church 2/10/2021, and therefore the last known potential contact for our staff/church members with this individual was 3 days ago.  We have reached out directly to those members whom we are aware of that were in “close contact” with the impacted member which is defined by the CDC as “being within approximately 6 feet of a COVID-19 case for a prolonged period of time” and instructed them to self-quarantine at home. Your safety is our top priority during these circumstances.

As a precaution, there will be no in person services tomorrow, Sunday, 2/14/2021. The 10:00 am and 6:00 pm services will be available by Livestream. Please plan to tune in at these times at northlove.org.

While most staff/church members were not in close contact with the individual, we recommend that all members take the precautions noted by the CDC for those exposed through close contact.  These include:

a. Monitor your health symptoms which include a fever (over 100.4°F), cough, shortness of breath

b. If symptoms develop, self- quarantine and call your healthcare provider

c. Practice social distancing

d. Wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face

While we understand that this may cause concern for you, we want to assure you that we are taking every precaution possible and care about your health and the health of your families. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or if you develop symptoms or are tested for COVID-19.
